Someone once told me that at the end of life, people don't think about their bank accounts or their titles. They get quiet and ask themselves three things. Did I live? Did I love? Did I matter?
That hit me differently when I heard it.
Because we spend so much time building careers, building businesses, building reputations and so little time building a life that actually answers those three questions.
I talked about this on a recent episode of Stay On Course and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Legacy isn't something you create later. It's something you either build today or you don't.
