In ballroom, you are either the leader or the follower. No question.
But real leadership? It is not that clean.
Sometimes you lead. Sometimes you follow. And knowing which one the moment is asking for, that is the skill.
That is presence.
Ask yourself before you walk into any room, any meeting, any conversation: what hat am I wearing right now?
Because if you are not present enough to answer that, you are leading on autopilot.
