CEO
Eileen is a Nashville native - though she's moved around quite a bit since leaving Vanderbilt. She started her career in publishing - first at Ingram Book and then at a professional publishing house in New York. From there, she moved to London, where she stayed for several years - studying art at Christie's and working in various arts-related positions.
In 2005, Eileen left the art world behind and moved to Atlanta and started a home-concierge business - working with homeowners to manage their home and their home improvements. This work introduced her to the world of residential energy efficiency programming, and in 2010 Eileen started working for the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance. Eileen managed the Alliance's business development department for 7 years. In 2017 she was ready for a new challenge and migrated her business development skills over to the financial technology space and became the VP of a payments think-tank based between London and Atlanta. In 2019, she left the think tank, went to business school to get her MBA, and started consulting work for companies ranging from multinational conglomerates to small nonprofits.
Towards the end of 2022, Eileen realized that she wanted another new, but more creative challenge. Throughout her early years and her later career, Eileen had always been the go-to resource for her friends and family when it came to dressing and shopping for clothes. She had a knack for being able to make others look & feel good about their 'personal brands'. This knack developed into a marketable skill over the years. And with it, a target audience of the 35 + yr/old corporate woman was identified as needing the most help in this post-covid, back-to-work world. So, in December of 2022, Eileen started Venus Rising. With Venus Rising, Eileen works with women of all ages to help them create looks that elevate their personal style. Venus Rising has offices in both Atlanta and Nashville.
